As a Research Assistant, I assembled and automated a laser profilometer using Arduino and a stepper motor for real-time image capture. I programmed software in Python using OpenCV library to analyze images, measuring laser beam intensity and reflectivity variations while scanning the profile to obtain its accurate dimensions.
